Keel Wheelers MCC are a motorcycle club formed in May 2010 by a group of mates who just enjoy biking. The club was officially formed
on 3rd May 2010 when we established our rule book and elected the committee from the 10 founding members.
Most of our members come from the coastal town of Kilkeel Co.Down N.Ireland. We are an open club and welcome all new members
from near or far. Regardless of which bike you ride or your riding experience you will be made most welcome. If you enjoy biking and a bit of craic then this might just be the
club for you !!
We hold our club meeting on the first Tuesday of every month at 7.30pm at The Nautilus Centre, Rooney Road, Kilkeel Harbour. We hold a club rideout on the 3rd Sunday of every month and during the summer months we will also have a midweek evening run.
We meet in Kilkeel Harbour carpark on the Sunday at 10.30am for deperture at 11am. The route is picked by one of our road captains which is usually around 70 -100 miles. If you want to tag along on these runs just turn up and introduce yourself. If you contact the club prior to our runs we will let you know the route in advance. Should there be an event being run by another club on the same date we may support that as our monthly rideout.
We are using 2010 to get the club established, we will only be holding club events for members. We do however aim to support other clubs this year by attending various rideouts, rallies and charity runs. We hope to make many new friendships with other clubs in the years ahead.
Next year we hope to run several events ourselves in aid of local and national charities.
